Thank to the East Lancs Railway

We had a great day with our friends at the East Lancs Railway in October. The rain kept off and we were treated to behind the scenes tours, train trips and even driver experiences. Videos can be seen on our facebook page. Thanks also to our member Graham Townsend for raising steam in his roller and bring it along for the day. The warm firebox was very much appreciated.
The train shenanigans was followed by a meeting in the local church hall, where we held our annual photographic competition and our annual quiz, delivered this year by Diane Carney. About 30 people took part in the quiz which was won by (and I am assured there was no cheating) Neil Carney! Well done to him and we look forward to him delivering the quiz next year.
