AUTUMN SOCIAL MEETING

SATURDAY 26TH OCTOBER, 11.00AM ONWARDS

WEST LANCASHIRE LIGHT RAILWAY, HESKETH BANK

The steaming season is drawing to a close and our Autumn social meeting is looming. This year we have the opportunity to visit our friends at the West Lancashire Light Railway for a private steaming and behind the scenes tour.
The railway will open to us from 11.00am on Saturday 26th October.
I believe a couple of our members are threatening to steam up engines and bring them along too. I'm sure more will be welcome if any of you fancy it!
On-site catering (a burger van) will also be in attendance.
At 3.00pm we will retire to All Saints Church Hall where we will have our annual quiz, presented this year by Diane Carney, followed by our photo competition. So please bring along your best three photos from the year (digital format preferred) or email them to me before the event.
Parking at the railway is limited (especially if the car park is going to be full of engines!) so we have also arranged parking at the church hall for the full day.

No need to book for this event. We have no limit on numbers so please feel free to bring friends.
